Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally

StarKids stores all user data locally on your device. This includes:

• Children's names and profile photos (avatars)
• Tasks, rewards, and point records
• App settings and preferences

This data is stored using on-device storage and is not uploaded to our servers.

iCloud Sync (Pro Feature)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synced via Apple's iCloud (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore).

This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Family Sync (Pro Feature)

If you use Family Sync, the following data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore to enable real-time syncing between family members:

• Children's names and compressed profile photos
• Tasks, rewards, and point/redemption logs
• An anonymous user identifier (Firebase Anonymous Auth)
• A family invite code (expires after 24 hours)

We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication — no email, phone number, or personal login credentials are collected.
